Help achieve your study goals with my Japanese study planner desk pads!

I’m a huge believer that smaller, regular study sessions have a much bigger impact on language learning than a big cram session once or twice a week. Although these planners won't teach you Japanese, they can help you stay organised and motivated by encouraging small daily study habits. Keep this pad on your desk as a reminder to do some daily revision, even if it’s just listening to a podcast or reviewing new vocabulary on your favourite app. As the days go by, you can see at a glance where you might be lacking in study for that particular week—maybe you’ve noticed you need to squeeze in some grammar practice before the weekend.

These planners are intended to be a loose guide, so use them as strictly or as freely as you like! There’s space at the top to write in some weekly goals, too, so if at the end of the week you meet those goals, fill in the daruma’s eye as a little reward!

At the bottom of the sheet is a small freestyle space to use for whatever you like. Practice a daily kana or kanji in the grid area. Use the dotted notebook-style columns for new vocabulary, new grammar, new phrases, or anything else you can think of.

Tip: I recommend using a fine-point pen or mechanical pencil to maximise use of the smaller spaces. (Brush pens work great in the kanji area!)

Product Details:

This pad design features a cream-dominant colour scheme with red, blue, yellow and green-coloured daruma dolls scattered throughout—a symbol of perseverance and good luck in Japan. The pad is A4 (297mm x 210mm) in size and has 50 thick, bleed-proof sheets to last you almost the entire year (with a well-deserved break). Sheets tear-off smoothly from a glue-bound spine, and the pad is backed with a sturdy cardboard sheet. Made in the UK.

A blue version with indigo and red daruma dolls is also available.
