Teru teru bozu (てるてる坊主) is the name of a doll made of white cloth or paper and hung outside of a window by a string, and is believed to have the power to bring good weather or ward off impending rain. Teru teru bozu became popular in the Edo period, when children would make them as a wish for sunny weather to come on the following day. Teru teru bozu can be roughly translated as “shine shine monk.” 

 

This charm is made from frosted pink, semi-transparent acrylic with a pink bell accessory on a black braided cord strap and would make the perfect addition to any phone case, bag, purse, mobile game device, and more! The acrylic charm is made in the UK and measures 35mm x 40mm. Black braided strap measures approximately 70mm.
