Daruma “Good Luck" Greeting Card

Daruma “Good Luck" Greeting Card

This good luck card is perfect for anyone starting a new job, moving to a new place, or studying for a big test! The daruma is full of symbolism associated with perseverance and good luck. When sold, the daruma has two blank eyes. The first eye is drawn in by the owner when a goal is set, and the second eye is filled in when the goal is achieved. Additionally, daruma dolls have weighted bases that help the doll return to an upright position if tipped over, reflected by the phrase “seven times down, eight times up.”

This card features text in both English and Japanese. The Japanese text, “がんばってね!” (Ganbatte, ne!) can be roughly translated as: Do your best!

This hand-cut giclee greeting card is A6 size and comes with a metallic gold C6 envelope.
