Kagami Mochi (鏡餅) is a Japanese New Year decoration meaning “mirror rice cake” and consists of two stacked mochi of differing sizes with a Japanese “daidai” orange placed on top. Kagami mochi is usually displayed on a sheet atop a stand and placed in the household’s Shinto altar. It’s traditionally eaten on the second Saturday or Sunday in January. 

Available in two sizes. Frame not included.
